If you are an existing customer/user, you may have noticed we made some changes. If you are new here, welcome to Supernova Gaming! Over the past few months, we have been working on bringing a better Supernova Gaming experience to you. Our computers, build process and company goals and values is still the same, however the change comes with our website.
The Supernova Gaming website previously was functional…and that was it. It wasn’t pretty, it wasn’t very fast, the pictures were mediocre at best, and this is what it was meant to be. It was intended to just be functional. We were founded in 2018, and stayed all word of mouth, check payments, and hand delivery up until mid 2021. We did not even have a logo until 2021. In 2021, we decided it was time to make a logo and a website and start shipping computers outside of Miami, FL. This iteration of the website was intended to give users full information about computer parts and their build and let them configure their system as if they were building it for themselves.
This iteration of the website was intended to give users full information about their build so they could pick perfect parts and for them to be able to configure their system as if they were building it themselves, it even allowed you to build two custom PCs in a single Super-Tower PC case. Although anyone could use the configurator, it was mostly meant for us to configure a build for you. We also offered a huge list of parts to the point it got confusing, especially if you didn’t know the difference between an Intel i5 and an intel Xeon CPU or liquid cooled vs air cooled vs custom water loop, and more. You basically had to jump through hoops to configure a computer, and they were not easy hoops to get through.
We decided it was time for a change based on the feedback we received from our customers who painfully went through this process alone. We cut back our parts list to about 25% of what it used to be, we completely revamped the website with new images, configurator, and a much better and easier design. We also fixed the famous “Cant Checkout” issue, where you would add a build to your cart, the page would infinitely reload and would happen at random times. We also simplified the experience for you by offering a cleaner configurator, less options, and also offering pre-configured builds. Pre-configured builds are already configured for you to be optimized in its performance price range. We also completely redid the blog. Our blog before was just embarrassing. The layout was horrible, we had black on gray font (not intentionally), and it was way too random. Our new blog, we fixed the layout and now focus on reviewing and providing our insight and value analysis for products.
Although nothing changed with our build process or quality/craftmanship, we now offer less builds but with more cases. Previously, we offered a Small Form Factor, SFX Builds, Mid-Tower Builds, Full-Tower Builds, Super-Towers, then offered Gaming or Workstation configurations of each, and even offered server processors. This gave you as much customization as possible, however it was just flat out messy. We took what we previously had, and now only offered the most popular options. Now we offer AMD Based Systems for custom and pre-configured builds, and only offer Mid-Towers, SFX PCs, and Compact Towers. This restricts customization, however it give you a better and easier experience. Of course, we will gladly build an Intel system or a Full/Super tower, or build with any product not in our configurator. Just contact us to order something we don’t offer!
This new website makes it easier for you to build your own computer, however do not hesitate to call or email us for some help! At Supernova Gaming, we try to build long-lasting customer relationships and we will gladly help you decide on the perfect PC for your use.
