This helps us determine what pages/products are working and what are not or need to be changed. For example, if we see a page is not popular, we may use that information to modify or remove the page. We allow you to opt out of certain information, or do not collect information unless you willingly subscribe to it. We also collect information about what is searched, or if you visit a product page or blog post.

When purchasing a PC/Accessory/Anything on our site, we collect information such as: Credit Card Number, Email, Name, Street Address, City, Zip Code, and Phone Number. This is information needed for payment. We do not receive a full Credit Card Number, as we use 3rd party credit card processors to ensure your data is as safe as possible. We are system builders, not credit card processors.

Similar to other websites, we collect Cookies. Cookies are essentially a small file/program which is saved to your PCs temp storage. It will keep track of your shopping habits to help us give you a more personalized expiereince. These are also used for advertising purposes. If you do not want your digital cookies to be collected, do the following: Go to your web-browsers toolbar, go to settings, then search for cookies. Once you find cookies, select to block them. If this does not help, use the “Help” tab on your browsers toolbar to find out how to block cookies. We will never sell your cookies to a third party, meaning any data and cookies you give us, stays with us.

Our software (K87 Gaming Software) is not programmed to take data from your personal PC and will not continuously run in the background. Installing the software will not collect data from anywhere on your system and will not send data to us. The only information we receive is when it is downloaded, and we do not receive who downloaded.

We collect your PCs IP Address. An IP (Internet Protocol) is used to communicate over a network. This identifies what computer or network you were using and is essentially a digital address. We collect this information for various uses. We use this to help us gauges where our customers are, if they are within our target market (United States/Canada), as well as determine if it is a security threat. For example, if we receive a card payment from another country but the card should only be used in the US, the card will decline.

Information collected from you may be shared with other parties which are necessary. This includes your address to the shipping company, your credit card information to the bank or card processor (Affirm, Stripe, Woocommerce, etc.). We get paid via the unique link ID that they send to us and not via the use of a sold cookie.

Your information is used for purposes listed above, and is always completely safe with us.

Section 2: What do we do to protect your information?

We use HTTPS across our entire website (www.SupernovaGamingPC.com). HTTPS stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure. The difference between HTTP and HTTPS is that HTTPS is used to encrypt data which is being transported to different places. Encryption essentially takes readable text and converts it to an unreadable format. The other end has the digital key which can decrypt the message, however a human cannot read this especially not without the key. THis is important as when entering any information, especially sensitive information, without HTTPS anyone on the network with a packet sniffer tool can steal the information. With HTTPS, it cannot be read and will only appear as random text and symbols. This stops your data from being stolen on a network.

We use a firewall, as well as multiple anti-virus software’s to defend against possible attacks. For security reasons, we cannot explain which ones or at what tech layers. These may use your IP address to prove you are who you say you are and may use other information to either block or allow you on our site and allow you to purchase something.

If needed for order confirmation, we can only reveal the last few digits of a credit card, as we do not even receive a full credit card number. To get this information you must prove to us that it is yours to start with.

Supernova Gaming is run by Computer Engineers with backgrounds in Cyber Security, Software and Hardware. We take digital security extremely seriously. No system is 100% safe from being attacked, however we take every precaution to defend against possible threats which also extends to data we collect from you.

Section 3: What do we do if there is a security breach?

Despite taking extra precautions, it would be naive to think a data breach is completely impossible. In the event of a Security Breach or leak, we will immediately inform all users exposed and delete all critical information we have on all customers. Although this has never happened, it does not mean it will never happen. If you ever received a suspicious email that came from us, please do not open it and contact us immediately to inform us to verify if it is truly from us or if the mail is spoofed.

We always recommend using strong passwords, and use completely different passwords on our site (and others) from what you use for your banks, emails, and other sensitive accounts.

We will absolutely never share your data unless specified above and will never sell your data. We may send data to third party websites for affiliate links and programs, however generally these work off of unique link IDs as opposed to cookies.
